Job summary

Hydro Ottawa is seeking a Manager of Distribution Engineering & Asset Information to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on data governance, GIS integrity, and engineering performance for the distribution system. The role bridges advanced analytics with asset records to support regulatory filings and long-term planning.

Reporting to the director, the candidate will manage investigations, model development, and capacity assessments for DER integration, load growth, and reliability initiatives,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required and a P.Eng. license in Ontario.
• Minimum of five years in a leadership role within an electric utility setting is preferred.
• Strong data governance and GIS data integrity experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists and set department goals.
• Maintain and govern GIS data, records, and network models for safe grid management.
• Coordinate interconnection timelines with planning teams and external stakeholders.
