Job summary

Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS) is seeking a Machine & Robotics Safety Intern to support health and safety services for clients in Southern and Southwestern Ontario. The role focuses on machine safety, risk assessments, and training delivery, with a hybrid work setup in the Central Region.

The intern assists senior consultants, helps prepare materials, and supports project delivery while maintaining safety standards and strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post secondary program in Engineering or Health & Safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety assessments, audits, and machine safety evaluations.
• Support project delivery and client communications under supervision.
• Provide admin support and maintain internal systems and safety materials.
