Dillon Consulting Limited, a Canadian environmental planning and engineering firm, seeks an Intermediate Biologist to join its Natural Resource Management team. The role focuses on protecting and enhancing natural resources through sustainable land use, habitat conservation, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in related environmental sciences; an undergraduate degree in biology, ecology or related field is an asset.
• Professional experience in environmental consulting, industrial, regulatory, or academic settings.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs, projects and technical studies for natural environment components.
• Prepare technical reports and memos on natural heritage systems across sites.
• Conduct field surveys and collect data across Southern Ontario (ecological land classification, aquatic assessments, vegetation, wildlife surveys, soil/water sampling).
• Provide oversight to project team members including natural scientists and technologists.
• Support stakeholder and regulator engagement and permitting activities across local, provincial and federal levels.
