Job summary

Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) seeks a Project Manager – Infrastructure Capital Projects to lead complex, multi-site upgrades within a remote northern healthcare system. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with internal teams, external consultants, and government standards to deliver safe, compliant facilities.

Qualifications

• Sound project planning, development and implementation skills.
• Ability to establish partnerships and collaborative work environment to reach consensus and manage diverse teams.
• Strong negotiating, communications, and presentation skills.
• Outstanding computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Project Management software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned project(s) in accordance with approved scope, budget and staging plan.
• Manage infrastructure project(s) from due diligence through transaction, construction, commissioning, to close-out, on time and on budget.
• Manage project budgets and ensure compliance with health ministry and infrastructure standards.
• Develop and manage project schedules.
• Provide comprehensive project management oversight throughout planning, construction and completion phases.
• Manage project change processes per health ministry and Infrastructure Ontario standards.
