Job summary

Marsh in Toronto is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a hybrid role with three in-office days weekly. The position is full-time on an 18-month contract, focusing on coaching People Managers and delivering HR programs across US and Canada.

You will partner with CoE teams, drive employee relations excellence, and ensure regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of HR experience, strong coaching skills, and a solid understanding of US and Canadian laws.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR experience with suitable qualifications.
• Experience supporting colleagues and leaders in US and Canada.
• Ability to work independently with discretion and tact.
• Experience with employee relations case management.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support People Managers to improve performance and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate rollout and delivery of HR programs, and drive process improvements.
• Guide managers across performance, development, absence, compensation, and total rewards.
• Handle employee relations matters, escalating complex cases to ER CoE as needed.
