Job summary

Hexagon Mining seeks a Field Services Technician for on-site installation, programming, and maintenance of automated machinery and systems. The role involves frequent travel to customer sites, including underground and surface locations, with hybrid work in the Dowling office.

You will support customers through testing, troubleshooting, and on-site service while collaborating with the R&D team to integrate new technologies and improve equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics.
• Flexible with varied shift schedules and travel on short notice.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, configure, test, and maintain Hexagon products at customer sites.
• Provide on-site technical support and customer service; troubleshoot systems.
• Travel to diverse locations, including underground and surface sites.
• Assist R&D with integration of new technologies and equipment.
• Prepare time records, technical reports, and site documentation.
