Job summary

Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre is seeking an Employment Specialist to deliver tailored employment services to diverse client groups. You will work one-on-one with clients within an assigned caseload, within a Case Management Team, to provide wrap-around supports that help clients achieve sustainable employment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences or related field and 3–5 years of experience in employment initiatives and case management; strong assessment

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Social Sciences or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 3–5 years of experience in employment initiatives, case management, and administering interviews/assessments.
• Certified in or knowledge of common assessment tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct one-on-one employment support to clients in a client-centred manner.
• Develops, reviews, monitors and updates individualized Employment Action Plans.
• Maintains client caseloads and documents progress with timely case notes.
• Maintains positive relationships with clients and partners to support job progression.
