Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto is seeking an experienced Director to lead regional IT Asset Management (ITAM), shaping strategy, governance, and lifecycle management to maximize value from technology investments.

The role requires strong enterprise collaboration, risk oversight, and proven capability to lead large teams across regional and enterprise boundaries within a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

Experience leading ITAM in large, regulated environments.
12–15 years of related experience OR equivalent education/experience.
Degree or diploma in a tech or business field; certifications welcomed.
Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle practices for hardware and software.
Ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Lead regional ITAM strategy and operating model aligned with enterprise standards.
Oversee end-to-end hardware and software asset lifecycle management.
Manage budgets, risks, and optimization opportunities to improve value.
Provide people leadership, coaching, and performance development.
Partner with stakeholders and vendors to align ITAM priorities.
Ensure governance, inventory accuracy, and reporting with clear risks.
