Job summary

Sonova's Manufacturing Software team in Kitchener, Ontario is hiring a Software Developer to build data-oriented solutions for production and analytics. You will craft reliable, scalable software and help enable data-driven decisions across our manufacturing ecosystem.

The role requires 3+ years of software development, with experience in data engineering, microservices, and modern tooling. A hybrid work model and a strong emphasis on collaboration and quality are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least three years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with data engineering technologies including ETL pipelines, Python, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures; C# is a plus.
• Good understanding of software architecture and design principles (SOLID).
• Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD, GenAI, Jira, and Confluence.
• Databricks, AI/ML, or data visualization tools such as Apache Superset is a plus.
• Precise, self-driven, and quality-focused work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support data analysis and production solutions.
• Ensure availability and performance of critical solutions.
• Design state-of-the-art solutions using latest technologies.
• Deliver reliable, scalable solutions meeting code-quality requirements.
