Job summary

ABB Canada’s Electrification, Smart Buildings division seeks a Software Developer (Programmer Analyst) based in Dorval, QC. The role designs, develops, tests, and maintains software across the SDLC, translating business requirements into scalable code and robust data models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of software development and database management experience.
• Bilingual French-English, English required for client communication outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis to identify software and database needs.
• Design and model technical solutions and data structures.
• Develop and maintain software applications with clean, scalable code.
• Perform testing, troubleshoot defects, and enhance existing apps.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
