Job summary

Radius Community Health & Healing is hiring a Data Coordinator to join our growing team. This brand-new role places you at the heart of Quality Improvement, shaping the position from the ground up and driving data-driven decision making across programs and services in Edmonton.

You will collect, audit, and analyze data from EMRs and administrative sources, prepare dashboards in Excel, support reporting, and promote data literacy while ensuring privacy and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in health-related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data entry, cleaning, management, or admin support.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proven ability handling sensitive information with privacy obligations.
• Proficiency in Excel for data organization, formulas, filters and pivots.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to support quality improvement and evaluation.
• Collect, maintain, and audit data for accuracy and integrity.
• Support EMR data cleanup, coding validation, and records maintenance.
• Track metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
• Develop and document data management procedures and workflows.
• Provide training and guidance to promote data literacy and accountability.
• Ensure transparency and ethical data reporting.
• Monitor trends and best practices in evaluation and data use.
• Attend meetings and support knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of data throughout processes.
