Job summary

The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine seeks an Analyst to support the Faculty Affairs Office and the Learner Wellness Hub by collecting, managing, and reporting data on learning environments and wellness across departments. The role emphasizes data integrity, confidentiality, and actionable insights to support accreditation and program improvements.

The analyst will design dashboards, interpret trends, and provide leadership with timely reports to inform strategic planning and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Social Sciences, Education, Public Health, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or evaluation roles
• Strong statistical and analytical skills; ability to design dashboards and reports
• Excellent knowledge and experience of project management; experience in an academic environment is an asset

Responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes, and creates reports on learning environment data; develops dashboards and summarizes trends across programs, divisions, and departments.
• Tracks and analyzes wellness indicators including accommodations, leave patterns, and related trends.
• Supports tracking, categorization, and reporting of professionalism concerns while maintaining confidential records.
• Develops and maintains systems for performance measurement, including indicators, data collection methods, and analysis frameworks.
• Prepares clear, timely reports and dashboards for leadership to support decision-making.
