Job summary

Barracuda Networks is currently looking for highly motivated and excited computer and networking technicians to provide quality support of our networking and security products in our Ottawa, Ontario office. This role is an entry-level front-line position with responsibilities to understand, document, and troubleshoot customer product issues via email, phone and chat.

The position reports to a Tech Support Manager and operates on a hybrid schedule in Ottawa, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or equivalent training (CCNA/CompTIA) is preferred.
• Customer-centric focus and desire to help customers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
• Basic networking or server experience (TCP/IP, Routing, DHCP).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Perl, Python).

Responsibilities

• Create, revise and publish internal and public facing product solutions.
• Interface with customers at a high volume to solve their issues.
• Develop your skills in network and security products through ongoing training.
• Document, elevate and follow through with product bugs and/or issues.
