Job summary

A prominent insurance firm in Canada is seeking an experienced underwriting professional to manage and drive the growth of their National Cyber & Technology Practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in Cyber and Technology underwriting, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be adept at fostering relationships with clients. This role is pivotal in contributing to the strategic direction of the practice while promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience underwriting Cyber and/or Technology products.
• Post-secondary education including relevant Insurance designation(s) is considered an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth of National Cyber & Technology Practice.
• Manage renewals for select existing accounts while meeting growth targets.
• Lead the expansion of the broker/client base through marketing plans.
