Intact is seeking a Manager, Digital Underwriting Strategy in Canada to lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive growth and profitability through the CL Underwriting toolkit modernization. The role focuses on delivering strategic objectives with measurable outcomes and coordinating cross-functional streams.

The candidate will manage a portfolio, align with business goals, and guide talent deployment while ensuring stakeholder engagement and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as senior underwriter or actuary.
• FCAS or FCIP preferred.
• Natural leader with ability to lead, influence and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop leadership strategies, organizational structure, and process/technology improvements.
• Provide leadership and keep staff informed on changes and results.
• Decision making or escalation of issues in developing the Digital Underwriting Strategy.
• Participate in strategic discovery with measurable scope, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee portfolio governance and coordination of streams to ensure integration.
• Assist in training content and change management communications.
• Plan, organize, track, and direct Digital Underwriting Strategy Portfolio.
