Job summary

Travel Industry Personnel is seeking a travel professional in Toronto to design customized FIT itineraries across Europe, Asia and Africa. You will collaborate with Travel Consultants and international partners to craft detailed proposals, source hotels and transport, and manage supplier relations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, budgeting, and timely delivery of itineraries, with in-office or hybrid work arrangements in Toronto, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Travel industry experience, preferably in tour operations, FIT planning or itinerary development.
• Experience with travel quotations, costing, pricing and currency conversions.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of Italy and Europe is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design customized FIT itineraries based on client interests, budgets and travel requirements.
• Research hotels, transportation, excursions and unique experiences.
• Prepare accurate quotations, calculate costs and maintain appropriate profit margins.
• Coordinate with international suppliers, hotels and destination management companies.
• Manage reservations, confirmations, payment deadlines and travel documentation.
• Ensure every itinerary is accurate, complete and carefully organized.
