Encore is seeking an accounting-focused Controller in Oakville, Ontario, to own the end-to-end accounting cycle and build a dependable foundation for growth. This hands-on role moves between transaction processing, month-end close, financial reporting and process improvement while maintaining accuracy and strong controls.

Working with the Director of Finance, you’ll own core accounting operations and partner on FP&A, decision support and scaling the business in a hybrid environment with two days

Competenze

• Progressive accounting experience with ownership of month-end close and reporting.
• CPA preferred or progress toward designation; strong accounting foundation.

Mansioni

• Lead the full accounting cycle: AP, AR, billing, journals, accruals, reconciliations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, year-end close and supporting schedules.
• Prepare financial statements and variance explanations.
• Maintain GL integrity and proper posting
• Oversee vendor payments and invoicing; maintain documentation.
