Job summary

Imperial Brady Canada is seeking an Accounting Manager in Saint-Laurent, QC to oversee end-to-end operational accounting, including vendor rebates, credits, and margin analysis. You will liaise with Finance and external stakeholders, drive month-end/year-end closes, and ensure reporting deadlines are met.

The role requires leadership of a payroll? team, strong Excel and ERP/system experience, and a proactive, bilingual communicator with 5+ years in similar roles within large organizations.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree completed; BComm preferred.
• Experience in operational accounting and rebates.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Minimum 5 years in related roles; large organization experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end vendor rebate process including contract analysis and program updates.
• Generate and analyze weekly and monthly departmental reports.
• Process customer credit notes/rebills and review margin impacts.
• Lead month-, quarter- and year-end close and assist audits.
• Lead and assist team, provide feedback and develop staff.
• Participate in or lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
