Job summary

Cymax Group Technologies is hiring an Analytics Engineer in Vancouver to build and maintain data pipelines, transform messy data into clean datasets, and support analytics and AI initiatives. You will work with the Director of Analytics and Insights to design architectures, implement medallion data layers, and enable reliable reporting for Power BI and downstream consumers.

This is a hands-on role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on analytics or data engineering experience.
• Experience building data models for analytics-ready datasets.

Responsibilities

• Audit and build data foundation on Databricks (medallion).
• Develop ELT/ETL pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Build and maintain a clean lakehouse with bronze/silver/gold layers.
• Enable reporting via Power BI and BI semantic models.
• Document data engineering practices and CI/CD for data.
