Job summary

SPX Sigma-Omega Corporation in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a HVAC Tester for our commercial products team in a full-time role. You will test and troubleshoot A/C units on the assembly line, read wiring diagrams, and work with VFDs and PLCs.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work overtime are required. The role offers a fast-paced production environment, safety-first culture, and opportunities within a global HVAC manufacturer.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience working on Commercial Air Conditioning/Rooftop Units.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience with VFD and PLC programming.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in a fast-paced production environment.

The Opportunity

SPX Sigma-Omega Corporation is seeking a person who has experience in the HVAC industry to join our commercial products team as a HVAC Tester - HVAC Manufacturing - in a full-time position. The successful applicant should also be a responsible team-player, who is able to work individually and has strong attention to detail in performing everyday tasks.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

  • Testing, Troubleshoot A/C Units (2 Ton to 90 Ton units) on assembly line
  • Experience with VFD programming and PLC Wiring
  • Experienced in wiring electrical panels with the use of wiring diagram and schematics

  • Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision

Compensation Disclosure
