Job summary

Raise Workforce seeks Journeyperson HVAC Technicians for the Artemis Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems in a mining setting. Expect a 28/14 shift, with accommodations, meals, and transport provided.

The ideal candidate is a certified HVAC professional with safety and technical skills, available ASAP on a contract through Dec 31, with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic with Red Seal and 5+ years’ experience.
• Class B Gas Fitter License.
• Class 5 licence with clean drivers abstract.
• Willingness to work in BC through Dec 31.
• Pre-employment screening including criminal record check and 10-panel drug/alcohol screen (including THC).
• Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings & schematics.
• Basic PC skills (MS Office, Outlook).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Inspect and install HVAC/refrigeration equipment at Artemis Blackwater Mine.
• Follow safety protocols in a mining environment.
• Coordinate with site teams and contractors and maintain documentation.

HVAC Technicians - Artemis Blackwater Mine - 28/14 - Paid Flights + Accommodations + Transportation Provided - Up to $55/hr - Cariboo, BC

Raise Workforce is seeking Journeyperson HVAC Technicians for the Artemis Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia. This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems in a mining environment. Candidates will work 10-hour shifts on a 28/14 rotation, with accommodations, meals, and transportation provided. The ideal candidate is a certified HVAC professional with strong safety and technical skills, ready to start ASAP on a contract until December 31, with possible extension.

What You’ll Need

• Journeyman Certified HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal) with minimum five years’ experience
• Class B Gas Fitter License
• Class 5 licence with clean drivers abstract
• Ability to work in BC from now until Dec 31
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screening including criminal record check and 10-panel drug and alcohol screen (including THC)
• Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
