Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an HVAC Technician to service, install, and maintain Liebert/Vertiv cooling systems across client sites in the region. Travel within a local radius and perform mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventative maintenance in data centers and commercial facilities.

Candidates should have 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience, EPA 608 knowledge, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience with CRAC/CRAH systems and electrical diagnostics/controls.
• EPA 608 equivalent knowledge (cross-border candidates).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Direct Liebert/Vertiv equipment experience (Toronto region).
• Experience in data center or mission-critical environments.
• Strong brazing and commissioning skills.
• Bilingual (English/French for Montreal role).
• Red Seal / Journeyman Refrigeration License OR equivalent provincial certification (Ontario: 313A strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform service, installation, commissioning, and maintenance on Liebert/Vertiv cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH units).
• Diagnose system issues and execute repairs (mechanical + electrical troubleshooting).
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Execute system startups, commissioning, and equipment upgrades (FCNs).
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Maintain accurate documentation (service reports, timecards, inventory).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Deliver strong customer service with a focus on first-time fix resolution.

Insight Global is looking for an HVAC Technician to travel locally (typically within 20-90 minutes radius) of the region candidates are stationed in. Candidates will have multiple client sites per day where they will troubleshoot and maintain HVAC equipment in data centers or commercial facilities. They will occasional do project based work installing new Liebert systems. They will manage tools, parts inventory, and company vehicle

• Work primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional after-hours support (<5% of the time)

Key Responsibilities

Salary: 110-120k CAD

• Experience working with:
• CRAC / CRAH systems
• Electrical diagnostics and controls
• EPA 608 equivalent knowledge (for cross-border candidates)

• Valid Driver's License
• Direct Liebert / Vertiv equipment experience (REQUIRED in Toronto region)
• Experience in data center or mission-critical environments
