Aerotek is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to install, service, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems around Ottawa, Ontario. You will work from a central shop in Carleton Place area and travel within ~100 km, performing installs, diagnostics, and warranty work.

The role operates Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with on-site fieldwork and independent scheduling supported by the shop. A full-time, onsite position with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience installing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC systems in residential and/or commercial settings.
• Field service experience, including responding to service calls and working independently on client sites.
• Valid G3 or equivalent gas-related qualification, with G3 considered more important than an AC license for this role.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license suitable for operating a company vehicle.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and follow established service procedures.

The role is field-based, with a central shop located in Carleton Place Ontario that serves as the home base for equipment and coordination. You travel to client sites within approximately a 100 km radius using a company vehicle, spending most of your time on‑site installing new HVAC units or servicing and repairing existing systems, including warranty work as required. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some client interaction during service visits but a strong focus on independent work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $83000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
