Qualifications

• Previous experience as a HVAC technician.
• HVAC certification.
• Braising and soldering skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work on RTUs and HVAC systems.
• Inspect system components: compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, fans, valves.
• Perform system checks, troubleshooting and refrigerant recovery.
• Perform electrical and gas system troubleshooting.
• Maintain service logs and reports.
• Research and resolve complex system problems.
• Complete assigned paperwork and forms.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure PPE and safety regulations.
