This is a strong opportunity for either an experienced HVAC Service Manager or a high-potential senior technician or supervisor who is ready to move into management.
The role sits at the centre of service performance. You will influence technician productivity, dispatch effectiveness, client satisfaction, preventative maintenance growth, job costing, quoting, safety, and day-to-day field execution. For a proven Service Manager, this is a chance to take ownership of a service division with room to grow. For a senior technician or supervisor stepping up, the company is prepared to support a structured transition into full-service management over approximately 6 to 12 months.
The right person will bring more than technical HVAC knowledge. They will bring judgment, follow-through, leadership presence, customer awareness, and a practical understanding of how profitable service work gets planned, scheduled, delivered, documented, and improved.
The Service Manager will oversee daily service operations for a commercial and industrial HVAC/R team, ensuring technicians are scheduled effectively, jobs are completed safely, and clients receive dependable service.
This person will guide and support field technicians and dispatch, monitor productivity and billable efficiency, review service reports, support quoting and job costing, and help ensure work is completed in line with safety and regulatory expectations. A key part of the role will be growing the preventative maintenance contract base while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and supporting repeat business.
The position requires someone who can move comfortably between the office, the field, the customer conversation, and the numbers behind the work. You will need to understand what is happening technically, operationally, and commercially, then help the team make better decisions day to day.
Relevant HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, or trades training would be preferred. Equivalent hands‑on commercial or industrial HVAC/R service experience will also be considered.
