Job Opportunity: HVAC / Refrigeration Mechanics

Location: Northwest Territories (accepting resumes from NT, NU, AB, BC, SK, MB, ON).
Shift: 2 weeks, Feb 19 - Mar 5, 2025.

Tundra Site Services is seeking HVAC / Refrigeration Mechanics for maintenance relief coverage at remote camps. The shift dates are tentative; interested candidates should submit their resumes and indicate their availability for these dates to stay informed.

Job Description:

1. Maintaining various AC systems, from mini ductless splits to 40-ton air handlers.
2. Maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment such as steamers, mixers, ovens, as well as walk-in freezers and coolers.
3. Assisting other trades as part of the Site Services Department.
4. Knowledge of diesel-fired heaters and waste oil burner systems is an asset.

The remote, permanent camps are well-equipped with excellent food, facilities, and safety programs.

Candidate Evaluation Criteria:

• Journeyman / Red Seal ticket in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
• HVAC experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote camp environments.
• Ability to meet pre-screening requirements: criminal record check, drug test, and medical exam. Full disclosure is encouraged.
• Strong commitment to site safety policies and procedures.
• Verifiable references from previous employers.
