Work Conditions

On-site work with a dusty and noisy environment. Work must be completed at the physical location; remote work is not available.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine repair extent.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Perform welding as required.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance tasks.
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
  • Service attachments and working tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance.
Credentials
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Specializations
  • Powered equipment repair: cable-operated attachments, hydraulic attachments, compressors, industrial lift trucks, forklifts.
  • Mechanical maintenance: vehicle suspension, steering, tires, and wheels.
Additional Information

Security and safety: criminal record check, driver's license validity check.

Transportation/travel: own transportation, valid driver's license.

Physical requirements: physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods.
