Job Opportunity: HVAC / Refrigeration Technician at Ainsworth (a GDI company)

Job Summary

The HVAC / Refrigeration Technician will report directly to the Project Manager and support a team of Install Technicians. The role involves responsibilities aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional customer relations.
• Provide equipment service, maintenance, and repairs for existing customers.
• Assist in new build and renovation projects locally and out of town.
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and eliminate unnecessary expenses.
• Participate in staff meetings.
• Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies.
• Conduct monthly vehicle inspections.
• Obtain approval from the Regional Supervisor for downtime.
• Wages as per the collective agreement.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Various positions: HVAC / REF – G1 Journeyman, HVAC / Ref Apprentice at all levels.
• Experience with industrial combustion, chillers, large capacity boilers is an asset.
• Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of Ainsworth products and services.
