Job summary

Johnson Controls in Edmonton is seeking skilled Journeyperson HVAC technicians to join our team. You will service light to industrial scale systems, troubleshoot mechanical equipment, and apply your hands-on expertise to maintain peak performance.

What you will do

Do you have HVAC experience?We are looking for skilled Journeymen who have worked in light/heavy commercial or industrial settings to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment.

We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards. We will equip you with tools (excluding tools outlined in the union agreement), uniforms, and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard.

Journeypersons should demonstrate strong skills and expertise in their trade. We prefer candidates with a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on, practical experience in the HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, and/or mechanical equipment service industry.

What we look for

Required

• HVAC Journeyperson status.
• 5+ years of light/heavy commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver's license, appropriate certifications to work with refrigerants, boilers, and steam operational & service knowledge.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range: $57.73 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
