Job summary

Johnson Controls in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Service Scheduler to coordinate field service operations and ensure timely maintenance for our customers. You will receive calls, assign technicians, track progress, and follow up to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Bilingual in French and English is preferred.
• Two to five years of service industry experience and/or service scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule customer calls for service.
• Manage schedule of assigned technicians and mechanics.
• Coordinate labor scheduling to align technicians with customer and service needs.
• Communicate the action plan and services to be provided directly to the customer.
• Ensure work has been performed to the customer’s expectations and follow up as needed.
• Debrief activities daily and maintain daily schedules.
• Maintain consistent communication with assigned Technicians.
• Maintain customer account information required to support call management and scheduling in NxGen.
• Attend weekly planning/scheduling meetings.
• Assist with monitoring of time and expense reporting submission.
• Review and correct unassociated time for timesheets for technicians.
• Other duties and administrative activities as assigned.
