Responsibilities
  1. Produce submittal drawings for approval, field installation drawings, and fabrication sheets for specialty HVAC ductwork using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
  2. Collaborate with drafters, account managers, estimators, and manufacturing teams to ensure project alignment and meet deadlines.
  3. Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of all deliverables without compromising quality.
  4. Maintain accuracy and quality standards in all drawings, ensuring compliance with industry codes and client specifications.
  5. Revise and update designs based on feedback from clients, engineers, or production teams.
  6. Support the design and drafting team in improving turnaround times and drawing accuracy.
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and team efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC sheet metal ductwork design or related field
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
