What you will do

How will you do it

We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians who have experience with residential and/or ducted products, air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHUs, or rooftop ducted units. We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement. We offer incentive programs and a #1 focus on employee safety. We also provide tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle to perform your job and service our customers to the highest standard.

Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure the facility is running efficiently, including upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

What we look for

Required

  1. Be a dedicated member of the team, willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.
  2. Must be a member or willing to join a local union.
  3. Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers with strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting experience. Preference will be given for water-cooled centrifugal chillers.
  4. Able to repair centrifugal compressors and screw chillers system components.
  5. Travel may be required 10% to 20% to support branch customers' startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service troubleshooting.
  6. Opportunity to invest in career development. You will enroll in training programs and JCI’s STA to gain knowledge in HVAC products and sales quoting.
  7. You will work collaboratively with other local market mechanics.
  8. Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills. Able to write and communicate to the customer problem, cause, and corrective actions.
  9. Able to provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI’s Service Plus Rewards program.
  10. Self-starter with a passion/desire to learn and apply on the job.
  11. Prioritize safety in all forms.
  12. Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license.
