Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is hiring an HVAC Apprentice Technician-Level 2 to join a team focused on service quality and customer satisfaction. You will learn, service, and install HVAC systems, with training and growth opportunities across Canada.

Qualifications

• Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must have a Gas Fitter 2 license and ODP.
• 3–5 years of field experience in servicing Water Heaters & HVAC equipment.
• Must have at least a Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Be willing to work rotating shifts and standby duties.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 15 kg, bending, kneeling, and working in various environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication; strong problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Punctual, dependable, and comfortable wearing company uniform.
• Maintain company vehicle in neat, safe condition.

What will you do?

• To ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance.

• You will be responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers; offering for sale other company products, services and demonstrating your ability to communicate, problem solve, to ensure customer satisfaction.

What do you bring?

• Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must have a Gas Fitter 2 license and ODP
• 3 – 5 years of field experience in service of Water Heaters & HVAC equipment, would be an asset
• Must have at least a Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Be willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
• Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
• Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must have outstanding customer service skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics/ electricity).
• Very punctual and dependable.
• Must be willing to wear Company provided uniform.
• Maintain company vehicle to neat clean and safe standard.
