Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is hiring a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions at our Ottawa location. The role covers recruitment, payroll, pensions and benefits, talent management, job evaluation, recognition and learning and development.

As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for providing human resources functions at your location, including recruitment, payroll, pension and benefits, talent management, job evaluation, recognition and learning and development. You will investigate and analyze grievances and complaints and work with the business, employees and unions (if applicable) to identify sources of conflict and complaints and resolve them to ensure smooth business operations. You will also ensure compliance with the Health and Safety program.
The Human Resources Manager will be asked to provide their operational perspective and expertise on new programs and policies that will impact employees and the business and to recommend improvements to existing programs, policies and processes.
This is a hands-on role, working as a team with local management. If you are passionate about all aspects of human resources and understand the value of people, and are detailed oriented and organized this is the opportunity for you.

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
