We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our workforce is managed effectively and aligns with our strategic goals. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all HR functions in Canada, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. This position will lead HR Generalist in Canada and will report to the SVP, People & Communications. Requires travel up to 20%. Must be able to work 3 days onsite at either our Edmundston, Montreal, or Orillia locations, with travel up to 25%.

Essential Functions: What you’ll do:
  1. Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with the overall business plan.
  2. Represent the company in union negotiations.
  3. Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to onboarding processes.
  4. Advise on performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  5. Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and conflict resolution.
  6. Ensure compliance with Canadian labor laws and regulations.
  7. Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote employee and leadership development.
  8. Oversee employee benefits and compensation programs.
  9. Analyze HR metrics to improve business practices and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications: What you’ll need to be successful
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, is a plus.
  2. Must be bilingual, English and French-Canadian speaking.
  3. Minimum of 7 years of HR management experience in Canada.
  4. Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws and HR best practices.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent) preferred.
