Job summary

Sanexen is seeking a Human Resources Intern for its Brossard offices, starting in Winter 2027. The role offers hands‑on experience across recruitment, training, total rewards, and HR system implementation in a dynamic environmental services environment.

You will support multiple HR projects, assist with recruitment activities and employer branding, and help prepare training reports and dashboards while developing a generalist mindset and strong Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with full‑time availability for Winter 2027.
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel and organization, able to handle multiple projects.
  • Bilingual English/French communication skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Assist recruitment activities: postings, screening, interview coordination.
  • Support training, development, and HR reporting activities.
  • Contribute to HR projects and Dayforce system deployment.
  • Assist with admin tasks and data accuracy across HR systems.

Sanexen is seeking a Human Resources Intern for its Brossard offices.

Job Description

Would you like to gain experience in human resources while contributing to several key areas of the HR function? We are looking for a Human Resources Intern for the Winter 2027 term.

You will contribute to various initiatives related to recruitment, training, total rewards and the implementation of an HR system, while also supporting various HR projects and activities. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on, well‑rounded HR experience within a dynamic team and in an industry at the heart of environmental initiatives.

Main responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Attraction

  • Participate in the various stages of the recruitment process, including job postings, application screening, pre-selection and interview coordination;
  • Conduct candidate searches and contribute to identifying potential profiles for various positions, including through the use of candidate personas;
  • Participate in the preparation and coordination of recruitment activities;
  • Assist with the organization and participation in job fairs, career days and recruitment events;
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and perform various administrative recruitment tasks.

Training and Development

  • Compile and update data related to employee training;
  • Assist with tracking the employer’s training obligations;
  • Support the preparation, coordination and follow‑up of training activities;
  • Contribute to the preparation of training‑related reports and dashboards.

Total Rewards

  • Participate in activities related to salary reviews and bonus cycles;
  • Support the collection, validation and compilation of data, as well as the preparation of required reports and documents.

HR Projects and Support

  • Participate in various HR projects based on team priorities;
  • Contribute to the deployment of the Dayforce HR system;
  • Participate in maintaining and updating HR system data;
  • Contribute to the preparation of documents, reports and presentations;
  • Support the HR team with various administrative tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications required

Sought Profile

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or a related field;
  • Available for a full‑time internship during the Winter 2027 term;
  • Interest in various areas of HR;
  • Generalist mindset, self‑motivated and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new computer systems;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Excellent French language skills, both written and spoken.

Assets

  • Experience with an HRIS;
  • Experience in recruitment or training;
  • Interest in technology and HR system implementation projects;
  • Strong proficiency with artificial intelligence tools and ability to integrate them into professional activities.
