A leading company in the retail sector is seeking an HR Generalist to support their busy operations. This role involves managing HR processes, facilitating onboarding, and ensuring compliance with Canadian employment laws. As the HR Generalist, you will be the face of HR, supporting our busy and fast-paced business. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, you will support, facilitate, and lead a wide range of people programs, working at both strategic and operational levels to drive seamless execution of processes and systems to maximize operational effectiveness.
This standalone position is considered a Cultural Leadership Role and will help design, implement, and manage the corporate culture of Kit and Ace, as well as support some Office Services tasks.

Qualifications include a minimum of 4-5 years of HR Business Partner or Generalist experience within Canada, preferably in retail, with in-depth knowledge of Canadian employment law and benefits, CPHR certification or a relevant degree, and proficiency with HRIS systems like ADP WorkForce Now. The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
