Job summary

Broadstreet Properties Ltd is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Winnipeg, MB team. The role supports performance management, policy interpretation and recruitment, liaising with leaders and employees at all levels to drive talent initiatives.

The successful candidate will partner with managers on employee relations, compliance with provincial and federal laws, and workforce planning. We offer robust benefits, professional development, and a collaborative, growth-focused work environment.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, HRM or related field.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a HR Generalist role.
  • Knowledge of current trends in Human Resources.
  • Ability to interpret provincial employment legislation.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven conflict resolution and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and offer solutions.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS software.

Responsibilities

  • Promote day-to-day HR functions: performance management, goal setting, employee relations and talent acquisition.
  • Execute recruitment efforts for various regional positions.
  • Advise managers on HR policies, programs and procedures.
  • Provide consultation on employee relations issues.
  • Investigate employee concerns and follow through from start to finish.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation.

Our HR team is expanding and looking for someone driven to supportthe business achieve its goals.The role will liaise with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization in the areas ofperformance management, HR legislation, and recruitment.The ideal candidate is collaborative and proactivein their approach to talent acquisition strategies and relationship building with internal stakeholders.

Your contributions to the team:
  • Promote day-to-day functions of HR including performance management, goal setting, employee relations and talent acquisition
  • Execute recruitment efforts for various regionalpositions
  • Advise managers on interpretation and administration of HR policies, programs and procedures
  • Provide consultation to people managers regarding employee relations issues
  • Investigate employee concerns and ensure follow through from beginning to end
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial legislation, regulations and standards
  • Support with projectsrelated to HR program implementations and changes
  • Build sustainable relationships that create synergies internally and externally
  • Compile Human Resource reports and data including employee and workforce performance, attendance and development
  • Guide managers in developing a workforce plan to identify current and future staff needs
  • Network with community agencies to increase the company’s employer profile
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
What you need to be successful:
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resource Management or related field
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a HR Generalist role
  • Knowledge of current trends, principles and developments in the Human Resources field
  • Ability to interpret and apply provincial employment legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven conflict resolution, negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate solutions
  • Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments and employees
  • Excellent in all MS Office suite of products
  • High level of personal integrity and confidentiality
  • Previous experience with HRIS and ATS software

Employees enjoy a wide range of benefits and competitive reward. You will be eligible to receive salary range of $ 57,600 to $ 70,000 per annum, this will be determined by your skill set, education and experience. You will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s benefits program covering:
