Role Overview
At Jule, we are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into a high-impact role supporting multiple companies—each with their own unique challenges, personalities, and opportunities. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager as we build and scale a people-first Human Resources framework from the ground up. From designing fresh programs to shaping policies that fuel innovation, agility, and collaboration, you’ll help create an environment where employees don’t just survive the pace — they own it.

Duties & Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and deliver a seamless candidate experience
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines using various tools and partnerships
  • Oversee offboarding processes professionally and empathetically
  • Stay updated on recruitment trends in clean-tech and manufacturing
HR Operations & Systems
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS (BambooHR), conduct audits
  • Manage system updates, documentation, and training
  • Support compliance and policy review cycles
Employee Experience & Culture
  • Implement engagement initiatives and recognition programs
  • Coordinate performance management cycles
  • Support employee training and development
  • Enhance employee experience through collaboration and data analysis
Employee Relations & Policy Guidance
  • Support managers with employee relations issues
  • Coach employees and leaders using a people-first approach
  • Provide guidance on employment standards and legislation in Canada and the U.S.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and support merit/bonus processes
  • Maintain benefits programs for Canadian and U.S. operations
  • Support classification reviews and job descriptions
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and health & safety regulations

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist role
  • CHRP/CHRL designation (or in progress) is a strong asset
  • Experience in manufacturing, start-up, or clean-tech sectors is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario Employment Standards Act and U.S. employment practices
  • Ability to handle confidential matters professionally
  • Experience improving HR processes
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
