Job summary

Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a six-month contract staff position based in Greater Sudbury.

Reporting to the Organizational Development Specialist, you will support recruitment activities, source candidates, schedule interviews, perform reference checks, assist in shortlisting and issue employment offers, and participate in school and career fairs.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join ourGlencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

The position will be based in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

This is a six (6) month contract staff position.

Range of Pay: $93,000 - 95,500

This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.

Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

Duties and Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Organizational Development Specialist, the position plays a key role in ensuring that the organizational development activities for the Company are handled in a progressive and efficient manner by providing quality support. Primary duties include supporting the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, scheduling selection processes, performing reference checks, assisting in shortlisting and issuing employment offer letters. The position also requires participation in school and career fairs.

Education and Skills

The ideal candidate should possess a post-secondary degree in business, industrial relations or psychology and have a minimum of 1-3 years’ related experience. The ideal candidate can handle multiple priorities and a heavy workload.
