A leading university seeks an HR Coordinator responsible for supporting HR operations, including payroll, onboarding, and compliance. This multifaceted role requires a proactive individual committed to fostering a diverse workplace. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and HR administrative experience, preferably in academic settings.
The HR Coordinator is a key position which supports the human resources department to ensure the smooth administrative operations of the department. The HR Coordinator position is multi-faceted and has a wide range of responsibilities related to all HR functions, including HR department administrative support, payroll, employee onboarding, employee life cycle and HRIS administration, benefits, RRSP and compensation administration, reporting, records management, HR policy and compliance, and HR projects and initiatives.
The HR Coordinator interacts with a broad range of stakeholders, primarily employees and other HR team members. This position often operates as the first point of contact for employees interacting with the HR department.
