We ensure the recruitment of high-calibre staff and support their development, serving as a resource for staff issues and concerns, and enhancing HR practices with a strategic perspective.

What’s the job?

The Human Resources Coordinator will support the HR department in recruitment, onboarding, training, special projects, staff events, and personnel records. The role involves HRIS, HR metrics, and research projects, aiming to foster a thriving internal culture. This hybrid position requires working in the Langley office 3 days a week after probation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrative Support: Respond to HR inquiries, assist with performance reviews, and support HR functions.
• Selection and Recruitment: Support workforce planning, conduct pre-screen interviews, manage recruitment processes, check references, and maintain digital files.
• Onboarding: Set up new employees in HRIS, conduct orientations, and safety tours.
• Personnel Records: Maintain confidentiality and keep staff information up-to-date.
• Health and Safety: Ensure First Aid certifications are current, organize safety tours, and staff events.
• Training and Development: Research training opportunities, identify needs, and improve workflow technology.
• Special Projects: Manage annual projects, compile research, and produce HR metrics reports.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required.

About You

You are a committed emerging HR professional eager to learn and grow, passionate about using HR for kingdom work. You may be studying for your designation and seek practical experience. The ideal candidate will:

• Share a deep commitment to our mission, vision, and values.
• Hold a diploma or degree in Human Resources Management; CPHR pursuit is an asset.
• Have at least three years of HR support or generalist experience, preferably with full recruitment cycle.
• Possess strong knowledge of the Employment Standards Act.
• Have experience with HRIS systems.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple deadlines.
• Be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality with sound judgment.
