Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The HR team provides strategic support to their assigned groups by diagnosing business needs and developing human capital strategies. The HRBP works both strategically and tactically to deliver results, coordinating with regional and global HR resources. This role serves as the strategic partner for the IPS Canada team and regional employees.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on business strategy and its HR implications.
  • Participate actively in the leadership team for supported groups.
  • Develop and implement workforce strategies aligned with business and HR goals.
  • Address complex human capital issues, analyzing data to diagnose issues and collaborating on solutions.
  • Take a hands-on approach to providing excellent HR services.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust programs to meet business objectives.
  • Implement strategies for talent development and evaluation.
  • Lead projects effectively from initiation to completion, on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and internal policies.

Note: Performs additional related duties as assigned.

This role can be 100% remote.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience managing HR processes for employees.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to learn additional programs.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
