Job summary

ACX Head Office in Canada seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to drive workforce planning, organizational design, and people strategy across Eastern or Western Canada. This full-time role requires travel up to 25% and partnerships with site leaders to optimize performance and talent development.

You will coach leaders on ER, performance, succession planning, and internal promotions, while aligning recruitment with business needs and managing HR practices across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Business Partner or comparable HR role.
• Strong business acumen and experience partnering with operational leaders.
• Knowledge of employee relations, workforce planning, and talent management.
• Ability to use HR metrics to influence decisions and improve business outcomes.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting multi-site teams is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and people strategy.
• Monitor headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and overtime costs, implementing action plans to improve performance.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, and leadership effectiveness.
• Support talent assessments, succession planning, leadership development, and internal promotions.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to align recruitment with business needs and approved headcount.
• Support acquisitions, organizational change, and consistent HR practices across assigned sites.
• Track HR KPIs and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.

Geographic Scope & Travel

Approximately25% travel is required to visit assigned sites across Western and Eastern Canada, build relationships with site leaders, and support operational and HR priorities.
