Job summary

Jagger, a rapidly growing food company, seeks an HR Business Partner in Ontario to support frontline operations and corporate teams across multiple regions in Canada. You will act as the go-to HR partner for salaried and hourly staff.

You will own employee relations end to end, oversee onboarding, performance reviews, succession planning, and benefits administration. You’ll partner with leadership to improve retention and drive HR system initiatives as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner or generalist.
• Experience supporting a multi-location, distributed workforce across locations in Canada and possibly the US.
• Knowledge of employment law across Canadian provinces; familiarity with US laws is a plus.

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting a multi-location, distributed workforce (retail, hospitality, or food service strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of employment law across multiple jurisdictions (Canadian provinces required, U.S. familiarity a plus)
• Comfortable running employee relations investigations independently
• Thrives in fast-paced environments where you're building processes, not just following them
• Strong at earning trust with both frontline managers and senior leadership
