The Role

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner at our Richmond, BC location. The ideal candidate will excel in fostering collaboration, utilizing excellent communication skills to partner with business units, ensuring seamless HR services to leadership and staff in a complex environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess business needs and provide operational and strategic HR guidance.
• Work proactively with leaders to identify issues and develop solutions.
• Advise employees and managers on HR issues including relations, conflict resolution, performance, compensation, retention, engagement, accommodations, and legislation.
• Collaborate with HR team on initiatives and process improvements.
• Communicate and facilitate HR programs at divisional and site levels, and support talent development.
• Participate in HR projects, including strategy development.

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of HR experience, preferably as a Business Partner.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience advising operational leaders and building trust.
• Post-secondary education in HR or equivalent.
• Experience in complex, matrixed environments.
• Knowledge of BC employment and human rights legislation.
• Skills in coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and relationship management.
• Ability to influence and build partnerships.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and flexibility in prioritization.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Must obtain security clearance and pass assessments for CGP and ITAR.
