KF Aerospace is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to provide operational HR support across assigned business groups. You will work with leadership to implement initiatives, manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations in a dynamic aviation environment.

The Human Resources Business Partner reports to the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for the operational HR support for assigned business groups within KF.
Work with the leadership teams in the designated groups to identify areas for improvement relating to the departments human resources. Assist with change management and the implementation of company wide initiatives. Ensure accurate understanding of employee policies and procedures. Identify people issues, coach, and assist leaders with the management of these people issues. Identifies training and development opportunities for groups or individuals.
Research and prepare job descriptions, interview questions and assessment criteria for all positions. Provide support for the creation and implementation of recruitment strategies and practises. Recruitment includes position focused and job fair strategies.
Support the hiring manager in the process of selecting the best candidate for their vacancy. Short list resumes, phone screen candidates, guide the interview, complete reference checks and pre-employment testing. Prepare offer letters, transfer letters or promotion letters within the compensation and benefits guidelines.
Interpret compensation policies for leaders and staff. Complete compensation reviews for new or changed positions. Within established guidelines, determine appropriate wage for new employees, and process routine performance-based increases.
Provides information on available benefits, answer employee questions, and promote new benefits.
Assist new employees with the onboarding paperwork, enroll employee in learning management system, employee communication portal, uniform program, etc. Present elements of our new employee orientation classroom program.
Supports leaders in the application of our Performance Management program by providing feedback pre and post delivery as needed. Ensures all reviews in designated groups are completed in a timely manner. Assist leaders with the development of performance improvement plans. Supports leaders with finding meetings, conflict resolution meetings, and disciplinary meetings and the preparation of letters.
Supports employees as required. Responds to employee concerns from within the business group. Conducts investigations as appropriate.
Assist employees with disability claims, manage return to work (including modified duties), ensure appropriate resources, and liaise with case manager.

The salary range for this role is $68,900- $86,200 annually. The expertise and technical skill level of the candidate is assessed during the selection process for placement within the band. Note: The salary range maximum signifies full job knowledge.
