The Human Resources ("HR") Assistant will provide assistance and administrative support to the HR Generalist assigned to their location and the overall HR department under the HR Manager. This is a very important role and requires organizing ongoing communication between not only the HR department, but other departments within KIDO that require HR support and onboarding/offboarding. The tasks of the HR Assistant will include drafting handling administrative aspects of HR including attending department meeting, assisting with logistics of meeting setup, drafting emails and documents, answering phones and emails, and entering information into the administrative database(s) on KIDO employees for monitoring attendance, complaints, discipline, and other required duties as assigned. Communication will be integral to this role and the ability to speak/read in both English and Anishininiimowin, the language of KI, will be required. This position will report and be responsible to the HR Generalist assigned to their location, with oversight from the HR Manager. Should these positions be vacant, the KIDO Director will be the contact until further notice.
