Human Resources Advisor (Contract/Mat Leave)

Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the incumbent will serve as a generalist, participating in all HR management activities to ensure smooth operations.

The core responsibilities for this role in our Canadian team include:

  1. Providing advisory support to employees and managers on mobilization, performance management, development, and labor relations;
  2. Managing the employee lifecycle;
  3. Coordinating onboarding and integration of new hires;
  4. Participating in annual performance evaluations and salary planning;
  5. Responding to HR policy and process inquiries, advising managers;
  6. Handling short and long-term disability cases, maintaining communication with employees, insurers, and managers;
  7. Contributing to HR policies and procedures development and implementation;
  8. Creating and improving HR management tools and participating in special projects;
  9. Maintaining employee files with confidentiality;
  10. Assisting with pension plans and group insurance administration;
  11. Producing and publishing monthly HR reports.
Candidate Profile

We seek motivated, positive team players who thrive in complex, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities. Persistence, results-orientation, and strong collaboration skills are essential.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR management, industrial relations, or related field;
  • At least three years of experience as a HR generalist;
  • Knowledge of HR systems like SuccessFactors or Workday (asset);
  • Understanding of labor laws and advisory experience;
  • Autonomous, problem-solving skills, stress management;
  • Excellent prioritization, flexibility, customer orientation, and communication skills (bilingualism required);
  • Diplomacy, confidentiality, positive attitude;
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Boucherville & Chambly, QC facilities.
