Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. is seeking an HSET Superintendent to lead the site HSET department at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia.

The role operates on a FIFO 14-on/14-off rotation, reporting to the Project Manager and HSET Manager of North America. Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive HSET experience with leadership
• Underground mining experience and understanding of hazards
• BC Mines Act and HSE regulations knowledge
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams
• Strong risk management and incident investigation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSET systems and programs aligned with Barminco and client strategies
• Serve as trusted HSET advisor to project leadership, supporting decision-making and accountability
• Coach and develop the HSET team to build capability and high performance
• Drive site risk management processes, identify critical risks, and verify controls through assurance activities
• Lead incident investigations with root cause analysis and lessons learned
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, client expectations, and industry best practices
• Monitor HSET performance with data-driven insights to drive improvement
• Partner with operational leaders and corporate HSE functions to integrate HSET into daily operations
• Demonstrate safety leadership through field engagement, inspections, and training initiatives
• Champion workforce engagement and ownership of HSET outcomes across the organization
• Oversee training, competency, emergency preparedness, and response programs
